| hmmm it's impossible, but sometimes a quick infection can create antibodies which could resist the lethal injection's substance. But idk. | |

| needle has to be sterilized because any foreign body could cause necrosis or some other complication to humans body. needle is for one use only, for that reason. if u use it on more than one patient, it holds the risk of some minor (rash or necrosis) or rarely (but there is chance) major infection. (like AIDS, hepatitis or something else)
but for lethal needle, its doesent have much sense. guy will surely die cos of it. it could be only just a habit of doctors, or they do it cos of some protocol

| i think the needle is already sterilized when they take it out of the packet which comes out of the factory so they just slap the needle on and feel the rush... | |

| hehe...but why does that protocol exist? Basically you can give a lethal injection with a used needle, it's much more economic, u don't waste so much money on new needles. | |

needles arent all that expensive in my opinion and sterilization of them cant be too expensive neither or they would have sterilized and non-sterilized needles separated altho needles are made to get stuck up your body and the body of animals so it has to be sterilized so in conclusion needles are cheap and so is the sterilization of them it just takes a lil heat (above 100*C for a lil while)

| your question wasnt about how much is the cost of the needle, but why is it sterilized. ye, now that i think of it, they prolly pack sterile needles, and they are not making 'good' and 'bad' needles. that would be waste of money. instead of one mass production, it would be two. | |

7-11 is the shop which is never closed. lolz
