| New one: Surely you have heard of indestructible black boxes on airplanes ... so why not produce a plane of such material? | |

| Because the material costs a lot and you won't get ur money back. Also it probably weights A LOT so flying is not possible. Also it's prolly not as aerodynamic as the current material they are using. | |

| agreed with zol. it cost more money than carbon, and is heavier, so flying would be impossible | |

its a box shaped hard drive that keeps a record of everything the pilot does (pressing of buttons...) and tracks fuel level, altitude... and when the plane crashes they just download the data from the box and they can see what went wrong also this question is very old but still a good one

| You're down according to something that's on the 3rd floor and you're up according to something that's downstairs. | |

| Nice question. First it depends on the regulations and law in the country you own it in. In most of the countries you only own the surface. You can dig down, but not for oil. I mean you can go down like 10-20 meters, but after that it's just impossible to dig if you don't have the special equipment. Imo this is a good thing, cuz if the gov. finds out that you have valuable oil under your house, you can sell them ur land for much much $$$. But who are we kidding, there are no houses on oil | |

...it's just a question no one can answer. it first of all does not sound as a question + you at least could put question mark in the end to mask it better. and no you don't - i heard few died some time ago.
