, then I played with ballmouse for while til I got the g5, so I dun think it makes much difference wether you use laser or optic, atleast for quake.

it does actually - optical mouse speed is just faster so you reaction time is faster and it is more precise.

many players have proved it with their progress after getting some of razors or logitech mouses.

also woot get your ass in arena and will see what your optical mouse can do.

im talking about a i dont know 5€ mouse that you usually get along with a crappy pc Very Happy

well i dont have a optic mouse anymore i got a razer imperator or some shit like that and well all it did for me was that i had to fiddle with the sensitivity in q3
